About the role

Old Navy is looking for a Photo Studio Stylist withan strong portfolio demonstrating on figure styling in a commercial and/oreditorial fashion studio. This is a multifaceted role that will execute stylingon figure, manage the AssociateStylist, ensure closet maintenance and development,interact with Merch Coordination, the Director of Styling, and the SeniorDirector of Creative to ensure on-set creative and processes are followed to aprecise degree. This role may require assisting on editorial shoots, specialprojects and casting Studio Senior Stylist

What you'll do

  • Createaspirational on-brand styling while maintaining a strong level of detail thatrepresents the product & fit while protecting a strong brand identity
  • Pull, organize,and style out looks for respective division(s) while maintaining a high levelof organization of seasonal samples
  • Own style outs and on-set styling for respective division(s) witha cohesive understanding of the product, styling and merchandising strategies
  • Keep up to date on trends as they relate to fashion, retail, andphotography and consistently provide fresh and innovative ways of evolving
  • Lead fittings for photo shoots with ability to speak to fit,product attributes, strategy, assortment, and product life cycle at any giventime
  • Manage & inspire theStudio Associate Stylist to ensure imagery, outfitting and trend are constantlyevolving. Lead with clear direction on deliverables and expectations whileproviding coaching and development within their role and career path
  • Partner with Senior Stylist to reviewstyle outs & photography with ability to take feedback, make changes, andapply learnings forward
  • Develop & maintain cross-functional relationships withMerchandising, Sample, Production and HQ Styling teams to fully understandbrand strategies to execute with confidence and expertise
  • Maintain and execute on the standard operating procedures and thestyling guidelines
  • Work withPhotographer and Art Director on-set to ensure product is styled and shotthrough an aspirational lens while adhering to the style guide
  • Partner withCreative Director, Art Director, Style Director, and Photography Manager toensure seasonal styling reflects the brand’s creative & styling directionwhile maintaining strategies of the site
  • Partner with thesample management team to develop & maintain a systematic and organizedflow of all samples in and out of the studio. Ensure Associate Stylist ismaintaining and managing the sample process
  • Ability to adaptquickly to change based on needs of the business
  • Execute and drivea strong attention to detail with an emphasis on style that pertains to the OldNavy customer
  • Ability to managetime efficiently, execute under tight deadlines, and maintain high qualitystandards that represent the brand
  • Ability to adaptquickly to change based on needs of the business

Who you are

  • 5-7 years of professional on-figure styling experience within a commercial and editorial photography studio with a proven knowledge of supporting and driving a brand vision
  • 3+ years of managing a team of stylists
  • Professional on-figure portfolio
  • Understanding of market trends, visual composition & storytelling
  • Exceptional eye for detail and fit
  • Knowledge of commercial studio workflow
  • Previous experience working in a commercial photo studio
  • Demonstrated ability to manage high volumes of workflow simultaneously including prioritization, planning and task delegation under tight deadlines
  • Proficiency in Adobe Suite, Microsoft Office and Google Docs
