About the role
The position plays a key finance leadership role in
Loyalty & Credit/GiftCard Finance for Old Navy. The director isresponsible for leading a team (manager/analyst roles TBD) through the traditionalbudget, forecast and close responsibilities as well as strategic analysisacross the credit card and gift card businesses, and our emerging loyaltyprogram.
Beat the forefront of driving recommendations for various marketing initiativesand proactively identifying opportunities with our business partners. The rolewill actively work with multi-functional partners across finance, marketing andstrategy as well with our external banking partner.
What you'll do
Lead team in the development of annual budget, monthlyforecasts, and marketing hindsight efforts to maximize return on spend
Facilitate discussions with card issuer to understand therisks, opportunities and trends related to the card gain share P&L.
Lead strategic financial analysis of program strategies andad hoc decision support needs, including the support for roll-out of a new multi-tenderloyalty program
Partner with marketing and Brand Finance teams in analyzingthe effectiveness of key marketing initiatives and campaigns that support thecredit card and gift card businesses
Lead development and update of financial recaps and communicateto relevant parts of the company to support credit/gift card activities andmarketing spend
Establish strong business partnerships and cross-functional relationshipsto provide financial discipline and decision support within the Loyalty and Credit/GiftCard business
Promote an environment of financial understanding ofperformance drivers throughout the company
Ensure month end close processes are in compliance with Companyaccounting policies and generally accepted accounting principles (“GAAP”)
Who you are
Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting required; MBA orCPA preferred
Minimum 8 years of experience in Finance, Accounting orrelated field, demonstrating increasing levels of responsibility
Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills, includingability to formulate business strategy and proactively drive results
Ability to transform quantitative analysis into actionablerecommendations and communicate them in a compelling way
Demonstrated ability to build relationships on across-functional team and influence others through financial analysis withability to interact with various levels of management
Proven ability to build effective teams
Ability to manage multiple projects and adapt workstyle/processes in a fast-paced environment
Strong technical aptitude, including ability and desire tolearn company systems and tools. Essbase experience a plus
