About the role
The Associate Producer is responsible for executing promotional and seasonal messaging on Banana Republic Online UK and EU. This role manages & schedules the projects for the market, tracks progress and communication of marketing deliverables, and drives issue resolution related to site tools and functionality. This role will support the International Producer in managing marketing content launches from ideation to execution.
What you'll do
Drives the review and final sign-off of promotional and seasonal email + site content. Supports key meetings owned by Production, records feedback and action items and communicates recap to owners for follow-up and completion.
Coordinates project activities from various business partners including Merchandising, Marketing, Creative, Inventory Management, Web Developers, IT, and 3rd party vendors.
Ensures project is launched on time and meets initial requirements. Keeps management and cross functional partners notified of progress and/or deviation from project schedule.
Helps Producer manage seasonal marketing and photography pipeline, milestones, and deliverable tracking.
Works in content management tools to update and push content and promotions live to the sites.
Performs the final assessment and approval of site content and promotions prior to publishing on bananarepublic.co.uk and bananarepublic.eu and of email content prior to deployment.
Works closely with team in tracking and troubleshooting defects found; clearly communicates issues and the potential root cause; escalates issues and recommendations with an appropriate level of urgency.
Bridges the gap between the business-facing functions, and the technical functions (web development, product management, IT, and vendors) for special project roll out.
Develops and maintains documentation, templates or tools to maintain a shared knowledge base among the Production team.
Assists team on various projects to help improve the overall site experience or enhance our internal tools.
Who you are
Understanding of web production and release processes, including direct experience with website tools and technologies.
Ability to influence and coordinate activities among cross-functional, cross-branded teams. Acts as a liaison between business and technical resources.
Ability to deal with ambiguity & flexible to an ever-changing environment.
Highly process-oriented with superior skills in defining operational processes.
Project Management skills.
Excellent oral/written communication, analytical and interpersonal skills to effectively work with all levels within the organization.
Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent
1-2 years of detailed task planning and execution experience
1-2 years of web production experience. Retail eCommerce experience and mobile content development a plus.
