About the role
The Assistant Manager, Product Development willactively participate as a member of a Global Product Development Team, which isresponsible for the financial and responsive execution of the strategy &direction for a
single or multiple departments
What you'll do
Supports alignment with Merchandising & Design post Concept meetings to understand what the product strategies are and marry that with the sourcing strategies
Understand divisional and cross-functional goals and work with team to execute supporting strategies.
Help to drive communication between brand teams and Asia-based product teams to ensure strategic business alignment and optimal responsiveness.
Assists with costing process, helping to identify any costing concerns and
work with cross-functional teams to manage costs through our systems/tools, TradeStone and GA.
Assist in communication of lead timesand execution of all book dates to cross functional teams.
Track and report all open issues.
Support the execution of demand driven and seasonal booking processes, in addition to supporting in-season product management.
Order sample requests in PLM, Track samples via SMEE tool and follow up on missing samples with Asia-based partners.
Supports the execution of development & final BOMs in PLM
