About the role

The Manager,Field L&D, Old Navy is responsible for the project management, creation andoversight of the field learning strategy for the Old Navy brand. They partnerwithin the Talent function, with HR Business Partners and Business Leaders todesign programs and experiences that develop key capabilities that build asustainable pipeline across the field organization, while also building therequired capabilities to support brand strategies and needs. The Manager partners with the Director, FieldLearning & Development and cross-brand representatives to design anddeliver both leveraged and local brand learning solutions.

What you'll do

  • This is an individualcontributor role

  • Collaborate, influence, createand drive the field learning strategy for the Old Navy brand

  • Collaborate across the fieldL&D and field HR teams and influence within Old Navy

  • Establish and developpartnerships with key business partners (including functional executives) andstakeholders

  • Contribute as a member ofmultiple leadership teams

  • Assess training needsfor all levels of the field organization

  • Understandsinstructional design to create learning solutions

  • Design and deliverlearning solutions that are leveraged yet meet the needs of the field

  • Support the design anddelivery of innovative yet simple and effective field learning solutions

  • Create and/or customizelearning curriculum and collateral to build employee skills/competencies for thefield

  • Execute the implementation,communication and sustainability plan for the field L&D programs

  • Build and maintain strongpartnerships with business leaders and key stakeholders

  • Influence business leadersand key stakeholders on recommended learning solutions and curriculum

  • Collaborate with FieldHR Manager(s) to market learning solutions and curriculum

  • Evaluate theeffectiveness of field curriculum and training offerings and adjust as needed

  • Create sustainabilityplans for content delivered to field audience

  • Manage field learning anddevelopment budget and spend

  • Maintain currentindustry knowledge in the L&D space

  • Has effectivelytracked, monitored and managed expenditures against budget

  • Can create system ofimplementation that converts strategies into tangible operating results andensures optimum utilization of all available resources

  • Demonstrated curiosityand ability to deliver with speed, quality and continuous iteration to driveinnovation
