About the role
We’re looking for an experienced and dedicated Scrum Master with proven leadership skills and the ability to think critically and problem-solve wtih a track record of ensuring project milestones and deadlines are met. This position will apply agile software development principles and appropriate metrics in managing packaged software and customized development and guide teams to consistently deliver high quality working software. This role will assist the Product Owner in building the backlog, prioritization and refinement and guide a highly skilled team of technical engineers, developers, and infrastructure experts, using Agile-at-Scale methods to design, develop, implement, and optimize a complete end-to-end DevOps solution.Additionally, this individual will work across multiple technical teams to develop solutions for cross domain initiatives as well as with 3rd party software groups to integrate with Enterprise systems.
What you'll do
Collaborate with the System Implementation Partner, Vendor(s) and Gap Inc’s technical teams to define technical requirements, readiness & project solution alignment.
Confirm that the highest priority stories have been fully groomed and are ready for Sprint Planning.
Prepare tools and resources for Sprint Planning and Capture team member capacity for the upcoming Sprint.
Responsible for scheduling Sprint workshops and sessions for the upcoming Sprint are scheduled, establish and share the team’s Sprint Commitment report.
Facilitate the Sprint Planning session - Load the physical task board for the team, Update backlog and/or tool with tasks and commitments.
Capture end-of-day metrics and prepare Burn-Down and Burn-Up Charts for Standup.
Responsible to remove the impediments for the scrum team and Conduct retrospective meetings.
Who you are
Bachelor degree in Computer Science or related discipline with 5+ years of experience from implementation, operations and integration
5yrs + Scrum Master experience in any well-known software environment
Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work as part of a team are essential so that they can promote an effective working environment
Thorough understanding of enterprise software development processes and ability to adjust and apply this knowledge in a dynamic environment using Agile/DevOps methodologies
Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to communicate effectively as well as the business and technical communities
Proven track record of building strong relationships across functions, different levels within the organization and across geographical locations
Exposure to modern applications/development, architectural patterns such as: API first strategies/microservices, JSON, REST, UI/Application development framework
