For the last 10 years, Pradeep Kumar has been visiting garment factories in Bangladesh.
“People here are not just making clothes, they are building futures.”
He believes the garment industry has definitely improved the livelihoods of the people. Unfortunately, the growth has challenged regulations and worker safety.
“But we can’t leave,” he says of the garment industry. “Our business means too much to too many.”
With the help of experts, industry and government, we work to make improvements, added Pradeep, noting, the work is not done.
