John Hauser, VP + GM of our Canada business, has a lot to celebrate these days. In addition to leading the business for Old Navy's biggest international market, his team just opened its 100th store, and they have more exciting plans ahead.

Read on to learn more about John and what makes him #oldnavyproud! 

HOW YOU DESCRIBE YOUR ROLE: I support an incredible team here at HQ, but ultimately, my job is to best support the stores.

WHAT BROUGHT YOU TO OLD NAVY: It will be my two-year anniversary with the brand in January. I was really drawn to the culture of Old Navy and I love our customers!

WHAT YOU'RE MOST EXCITED ABOUT: For Canada, we are excited to test a dedicated beauty shop in 10 stores, with new third-party brands, which we think will be really exciting for our Canadian customers.

BIGGEST CHALLENGE: Canada is similar to the US in a lot of ways (great brand health + a similar culture), but understanding the differences in the customer and seasonality of the business is what will ultimately make us successful.

GOAL FOR THE REST OF THE YEAR: Drive the business forward in stores, outlet and online. As I keep telling my team, it’s all about landing the plane for a successful Q4!

FAVORITE PIECE OF ADVICE: If you take care of the people who work in your stores, they will take care of the customer.

WHAT MAKES YOU #OLDNAVYPROUD: I love the values that Old Navy stands for and they make me proud to be part of this incredible brand. Also, if you ever need to get inspired, go to a store. The field teams are the heart of this brand and seeing them bring our work to life makes me really proud.
