About the role

As the Omni Merch Marketer, you work within the Merchandising function on the Catalog Team, and you are a key cross functional partner to all on the marketing team.

You’re a fan of all things Athleta, allowing your deep connection to the brand and product come to life in the Assortment and Messaging Strategy for your respective catalog season (fall and spring).

You develop a Catalog Roadmap that includes the number of products by category and end use.

You’re a gold medalist in influencing and collaborating; makin recommendations of specific styles per catalog.

In addition, you will recommend catalog messaging that supports the omni-marketing strategy and seasonal playbook.

You have your blackbelt in cross-functional relationships. You’re a key member of the OMNI Asset Planning Team. You also partner with Omni Brand Styling team to ensure the integrity of design and merchandising intent cuts through in outfitting. And you actively partner with the Catalog Creative Team to brief the seasonal roadmap and participate in creative design rounds to ensure product integrity and messaging are clear in execution.

Seasonal Catalog Assortment Planning including all categories and end uses

Visual Roadmap of Assortment based on strategy

Seasonal Messaging Strategy including pagination recommendation

Briefing Catalog Marketing and Messaging Strategy to creative partners

OMNI Asset Planning for the season

Partnering with Editorial Team to ensure integrity of product and messaging are executed to strategy

Proofing all Mechanical Details in Catalog including Names, Pricing, Iconography

Participating in Style Out Reviews

Updating Cross Functional Partners on product shifts including flow, investment, vehicle , color edits etc.
