About the role

We are looking for a Marketing Senior Manager for Old Navy Strategic Alliances Business. This is a critical role within the organization where you will be responsible for owning and developing the strategies designed to drive consistent results for Old Navy Franchise Partners. You will partner with the relevant cross-functional teams to align on the Key Account Management strategies.

You will provide essential support to Global Franchise partners, ensuring the brand’s aesthetics, vision and direction are strategically communicated in their markets through foundational and seasonal toolkit development, strategic guidance and oversight of regionally driven initiatives. You will help educate internal and external teams on best in class marketing strategies.

What you'll do

  • The Marketing Senior Manager must influence and deliver at all levels within Old Navy

  • The Marketing Senior Manager must demonstrate collaboration and diplomacy in all aspects of their work

  • He/ She will represent franchise needs and participate in global marketing meetings, workshops and communication streams for the brand

  • Leads and inspires functional team to be: product obsessed, customer-focused, innovative, fast-moving and team-oriented

  • Act as main brand liaison, maintain relationship with key brand & marketing partners, regularly attending marketing meetings

  • Manage brand & seasonal strategies, hind-sights, plugging into marketing pipeline, photography needs, unique creative projects, commercial planning, brand onboarding, country launches

  • Review and approval of marketing activity creative assets produced by the partners.

  • Hand-off of brand assets and deliverables, i.e. – ad decks, tool kits, images, contact sheets, videos, etc.

  • Support social and digital media requests

  • Give guidance on best in class CRM and Loyalty Programs

  • Support seasonal approvals - traffic driving, store experience and shopping events, partnerships, experiential, influence

  • Partner with Franchisee on KPI and reporting

  • Obtain seasonal hind-sighting from Partners and report back to the business

  • Ensure partners are meeting annual marketing contractual spends.

  • Hand-off of brand PR assets including look books, high-res imagery, collection notes, showroom notes

  • Review and approval of PR activity, including editorial opportunities, press/influencer events and influencer content

  • Budget Management


Who you are

  • 6 -8 years of marketing experience

  • A seasoned marketing generalist with proven success managing consumer facing brands

  • Fashion apparel experience preferable

  • International and/ or franchise/ wholesale marketing experience highly desirable

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills

  • Excellent project management and organizational skills

  • Strong balance of creative and analytical thinking and approach

  • Highly flexible and solution orientated

  • Strong attention to detail

  • Independently motivated and highly proactive

  • Ability to influence upwards

  • Ability to inspire and motivate remotely

  • Test and learn mentality

  • Customer- centric & data-driven approach to marketing

  • Ability to communicate effectively virtually across time zones, and adapt style to other cultures
