About the role

The Sr Manager,Production Management is responsible for seasonal global production andresponsive inventory strategies to deliver multiple divisionalbusiness financial.

This roleworks with the domestic and international markets to realize a leveragedproduct pipeline process and operational excellence.

This includes identifying and implementingprocess efficiencies and scale across multiple markets. This role adds value tothe Global Production function by serving as the liaison between Gap Inc.Sourcing (GIS) and the country business leaders and teams.

The Sr Manager ProductionManagement have Manager, Associate and Assistant Production Managers as his/herdirect reports. He/she works closelywithin multiple cross-functional team that includes; Product Development, GapInc. Sourcing (GIS), Merchandising, Tech Services, IM, Allocation and OperationStrategy.

What you'll do

  • Responsible for driving multiple divisional responsive goals and

    capacity management to supportcontinuous growth.

  • P

    artner withmultiple divisional, functional leaders and GIS leaders to develop and pilotnew responsive capability, then roll-out to other divisions.

  • Knowledgeable in the product to market pipeline process, calendar andsystem connectivity to drive simplicity workflow internally and externally.

  • Partners with functional leaders to evolve new ways too work and streamline in-season processes.

  • Ability to operate strategically and drive financial goals while managing the team to execute the details.

  • Oversee multiple divisional to milestones: booking and shipment on time, in-season responsive, managing liabilities and test and respond.

  • Work collaboratively with multiple divisional leaders to influence and

    resolve production related issues.

  • Proactively troubleshooting, identify potential pre-production problems and recommend solutions.

  • Proficient in data analytics and able to transfer data to point of view for story telling.

  • Coach the team on creative solutions, problem solving skills and critical thinking.

  • Sharing top down information that ensures their staff makes informed decisions.

  • Advanced knowledge of:

  • Production: Fabric and yarn knowledge, trade regulations, testing protocol, product integrity, production cycle timeline, fabric and garment construction, costing

  • How product pipeline works

  • Computer skills and how to obtain information from systems

  • Understanding of cross-functional skills

  • Cross division business

  • Effectively communicate in written and verbal form

  • Demonstrate proactive problem solving skills

  • Influence others; Negotiation skills

  • Implement strategies according to plans, monitor progress, and make the necessary adjustments to achieve objectives
