About the role

As a Sr. Regional Director, you lead, develop and inspire a team of District Managers in all facets of running a profitable business (people, customer, operations, omni/loyalty, and product/merchandising). You are the conduit between field and HQ, collaborating across functions and channels to influence the optimal experience for both our internal and external customer. Your role is critical in leading execution and supporting the brand and enterprise vision and strategies while ensuring your teams are delivering results and holding their teams accountable. You are building talent across your portfolio of stores.

What you'll do

  • Contribute to the development of brand and region strategies to achieve and exceed short- and long-term business, talent, and financial objectives
  • Set dynamic goals for self and team with relevant metrics, to achieve beyond what is expected
  • Build a high performing team, establish a bench plan and ensure conditions are optimal to achieve or exceed

  • Develop individual, team and peer performance & capabilities via clear expectations, intentional conversations, meaningful recognition and accountability
  • Maintain strong relationships understand how functional business partner expertise is leveraged to develop and execute strategies
  • Maintain a keen awareness of the marketplace inclusive of Gap Inc. brands, external competitors and overall retail trends
  • Distinguish between customer segments, with differences in needs and approaches, and understand variances in profitability and value creation potential

Who you are

  • 7 plus years’ district and previous regional leadership preferred
  • Demonstrated ability to lead execution of strategic initiatives to achieve or exceed business and talent goals
  • Strong business acumen and proven track record of developing and influencing business strategy to achieve P&L results
  • Demonstrated ability to achieve or exceed goals by continuously identifying opportunities, influencing strategies and ensuring accountability within the business
  • Demonstrated ability to build diverse, high performing teams in support of a talent strategy
  • Understands own business within group and industry context. Articulates evolving priorities for the business within
    two-year horizon, and develops executable plans for this horizon
  • College degree preferred
  • Flexible to work days, nights, weekends, and holidays to meet the needs of the business; with the ability to travel overnight as required
  • Ability to relocate preferred
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 30 lbs.
