What you'll do

  • Lead key strategic analyses for marketing planning and execution

    • Own monthly omni-channel hind sighting (traffic, sales, competitive, etc.)

    • Help develop and update annual and seasonal marketing plans

  • Identify strategic opportunities to create brand love and differentiate against competitors

    • Track Old Navy brand health and factors that influence customer brand perception

    • Monitor market dynamics and competitive activities (shifting consumer behavior, latest advertising messaging, TV creative, etc.)

    • Act as go-to subject matter expert for the organization for brand health and competitive insights

  • Turn insights into action for marketing and cross-functional partners

    • Support the development, execution and share-out of insights from customer research and data analytics

    • Support customer initiatives and the tactical execution of customer strategies (acquisition, retention)

Who you are

    • Experience presenting strategic updates and insights to executive leadership and cross-functional partners

    • Minimum 3-5 years of marketing or consulting experience; some retail/apparel experience preferred

    • Enjoys working in an analytic role but has the ability to use data to tell a story

    • Comfortable performing strategic analysis on large data sets

    • Proven history of selling in strategic ideas

    • Ability to translate product, trend and merchandising information/strategies into marketable product messages

    • Ability to balance creative and strategic deliverables

    • Strong collaboration skills and ability to form effective partnerships across cross-functional teams – finance, brand management, creative, and merchandising

    • Self-starter who can independently identify strategic opportunities and improve processes where necessary

    • Comfortable in a fast-paced environment; flexible to changing priorities

    • Detail-oriented, organized and self-motivated
