About the role

The Inventory Specialist supports China Buying Team by completing tactical execution at the product/category/item level. The Inventory Specialist is responsible for ensuring pre-season and in season tactical Inventory Management functions are completed to support the divisional financial & inventory plans

What you'll do

  • Provide daily, weekly, and quarterly business reports to support the buying team
  • Execute promotional and markdown pricing actions that deliver on the commercial plan
  • Manage the PO process from creation, sizing and packing to INDC for seasonal booking
  • Support execution of open to buy decisions across all product categories in adult business
  • Responsible for partnering and communicating with global production, buying and field team
  • Support/participate in a collaborative, innovative and results-orientated environment

Who you are

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • 1-2 years relevant work experience
  • Retail experience preferred
  • Problem Solving & Decision Quality: Able to use logic and methods to solve problems with effective solutions
  • Systems and Tools Acumen: Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, and have aptitude to learn technical applications quickly
  • Able to build effective relationships within the Buying team and with the greater cross-functional teams that work with the core Buying team.
  • Possess strong organizational and time management skills
  • Must have extreme attention to detail
  • Demonstrate strong listening, written and oral communication skills
  • Ability to absorb information quickly and efficiently filter information to the appropriate teams, leaders, and individuals.
  • The ability to work effectively in a fast paced, ambitious, and ever-changing environment
