About the role

The OldNavy Outlet Market Planning Analyst strategically creates and drives businessstrategies that elevate sales and inventory plans, ensuring achievement ofdivision and Outlet channel financial goals. The Market Planning Analyst collaborates with Global Partners tocapitalize Outlet channel opportunities through exclusive product, visual andinventory decisions.

Oversees the development of division and categorystrategies that support Outlet Channel goals

·

Develop assortment, visual and inventorystrategies that align to channel opportunities

·

Inform Global Merchant and Planning teams ofDivisional/Channel opportunities and need to capitalize on these strategies

·

Own financial and inventory positioning for allOutlet exclusive product – ensuring Global teams fully support growthstrategies of these products

·

Drive profitability in Division through detailedinventory management and pricing strategies

·

Inform and influence in-season commercial planchanges

·

Assesses risks and opportunities to the businessand creates action plans to mitigate risk or maximize opportunity

·

Own business recaps (week, month, quarterly) toinform short term and long term financial strategies/action plans

·

Create a collaborative, innovative andresults-orientated environment

·

Influence others, both functional and crossfunctional partners, to drive results

·

Drives business discussions and adjustsstrategies to maximize results

Who you are

·

Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience

·

0-2 years relevant work experience, preferable inPlanning or Buying or Retail Management

·

Collaboration:Able to build constructive and effective relationships with a broad anddiverse group of business partners

·

Influencing & Negotiation:

Can present ideas and directions that leadothers to action

·

Problem Solving & Decision Quality:

Able to use rigorous logic and methods tosolve problems with effective solutions

·

Systems and Tools Acumen:

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, and haveaptitude to learn technical applications quickly

·

Presentation Skills: Effective in a varietyof presentation settings including one-on-one, small and large groups, and withmultiple levels of

·

Financial and Business Acumen:

Ability to evaluate financial and businessindicators and translate data into actionable information to drive results;proficiency in retail math

·

Possess strong organizational and time managementskills

·

Demonstratestrong listening, written and oral communication skills
