About the role
The Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP) Manager is responsible for supporting the end to end logistics network operations and executing key network expansion projects. S/He will support cross brand execution to provide on time delivery of inventory plans, identifying risk and opportunity. S/He will also drive continuous improvement and alignment for forecasting, planning and capacity management. This position is a key partner to the Brand S&OP, DC Operations, Network Analytics, PO Systems and Finance teams for development of standardized processes and sharing best practices. S/he will be on point for DC Network exceptions, ensuring that all brand S&OP teams are supported with appropriate levels of performance and inventory movement is completed smoothly. S/HE will monitor trends to identify and quantify risk and opportunities for service improvement and cost optimization. S/he oversees the governance and prioritization of non-standard inventory requests including intake for Cross-market, Cross Channel transfers, VAS demand & execution.
What you'll do
Support standardized execution and reporting across brands for Inventory flow, tracking demand and status, identifying risk to inventory plans and coordinating with the functional owners to maintain business continuity.
Manage the network planning and structured communication process for the S&OP teams, leveraging analytic and tactical resources to support brand needs.
Support key milestones/execution timelines for deliverables and ensure that all stakeholders are working toward deliverable timelines.
Drive continuous improvement in operational excellence and cross brand/cross logistics communication, partnering with Brand S&OP, Transportation, DC Operations, Network Analytics, PO Systems and Finance teams
Develop S&OP team capabilities for producing operational excellence and analytical insights that drive business goals.
Develop templates, tools and processes to streamline data inputs for DC Migration, SLA Tracking, Network capacity planning, and other activities that can be standardized to optimize resources and drive to business priorities.
Represent Brand Operations as subject matter expert and champion for seamless inventory flow within the Global Supply Chain. Partner with key stakeholders to drive continuous improvement in data visibility and speed.
Who you are
Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Industrial Operations, Engineering, Finance, or related analytic field.
5-7 years of working experience in Retail, preferably IM, planning or distribution experience at Planner level
Experienced in Supply Chain and Inventory Management operations, systems, tools, and reports.
Have some knowledge of manufacturing processes and/or manufacturing lead time, understand which stakeholders are responsible for which actions during the product life cycle and product delivery.
Highly accountable, operational mindset, with the ability to understand the bigger picture, drive process improvement and simplify/standardize work streams.
Comfortable leading cross functional meetings and able to easily develop and leverage key business relationships.
Demonstrates leadership presence to understand and quickly get to the heart of the issue and provide a recommended solution and plan of action.
Technical analytical skills in Excel (v-lookup, pivots tables, filtering) and the ability to work with others to develop automated reporting and templates.
Ability to balance and prioritize competing day to day demands and create practical solutions to business problems.
Ability to balance multiple projects and see them through to completion.
Outstanding written and oral communication skills.
