About the role

We’re looking for an experienced Staff Accountant/Analyst to support the Brand Relationship Management Team through the monthly close and brand improvement initiatives. The team supports accounting and control processes for multiple finance teams within our brands and other corporate functions. The team ensures the appropriate review and validation of journal entries, the preparation of balance sheet reconciliations and support other financial reporting functions.

What you'll do

  • Support the team’s close functions related to the processing of journal entries
  • Backup AssureNET Administrator in creating and managing company wide reconciliations
  • Prepare selected balance sheet account reconciliations as assigned
  • Work with Global Supply Chain BRM Senior Liaison, to support the review of DC Finance team entries
  • On a quarterly basis contribute to the BRM Close Package reporting for the provided to the Corporate Controllers Group
  • Accountable for maintaining excellent customer service and meeting department commitments

Who you are

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • Past experiences include financial close cycles, accruals, reserves, prepaid and other closing entry preparation and postings
  • Possesses knowledge of operational, accounting and financial systems, principles and theory
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills
  • Ability to think objectively and interpret meaningful themes from quantitative and qualitative data
