About the role

Leading the way in changing how we think and operate our business is no small task. In this role, you’ll be an integral member in the GapTech Separation Project Management Office (PMO) whose charter is to plan and execute the separation of GapTech into two separate competitively advantaged standalone public companies, with processes and tools that set up for success. You’ll be part of a full time, dedicated team who will be focused on providing organization and structure that will enable completion of a successful separation. The PMO team will drive a rigorous process to ensure decisions are made timely and definitively, with the objective of setting both companies up for sustained success. As it progresses, the PMO will identify and evaluate breakthrough approaches that can increase our efficiency and effectiveness by leveraging simple, contemporary approaches to our work.
As a Senior Analyst on the Separation PMO team you will play a critical role in coordinating execution of GapTech’s separation efforts. This role will report into the Director of GapTech Modernization and Separation and will support the overall management and execution of the Separation plan. This role will be integral in managing the multiple work streams within the Separation plan. This role will ensure deliverables and deadlines are met, risks are captured and mitigated, and help project teams members with roadblocks and resource challenges. This role will work closely with all members of the PMO Separation team, key business stakeholders and external partners.

What you'll do

  • Support day-to-day program management of GapTech separation efforts
  • Leverage project management skills to create project plan that supports overall Separation strategy
  • Oversee separation work in partnership with Product Management, Engineering and Architecture
  • Facilitate risk mitigation, dependency tracking, and contingency planning across Program; surface issues and risks to leadership team in order to resolve blockers
  • Manage project plan deliverables; including timelines, resources, budget
  • Create project infrastructure to enable other project team members to leverage; presentation templates, project plan templates, roles + responsibilities, Gantt charts, meeting structures, etc.
  • Publish project statuses on a regular basis based on needs of the project and audience
  • Partner with external consultant resources as needed
  • Build strong working relationships with key project team members and leaders
  • Support key milestone and decision meetings and discussions with various leaders and project team members
  • Lead and execute any deliverables that support a successful separation

Who you are

  • 5+ years of engineering, technology, consulting or program management experience
  • Experience and understanding of IT organizations and solutions or M&A
  • Demonstrated track record of aligning IT objectives and programs to business objectives and strategies
  • Experience managing strategic initiatives that involves multiple functions, work streams, interdependencies and tight timelines
  • Strong operational mindset; ability to create structure and clarity in the midst of ambiguity
  • Experience enabling strategy for large organizations
  • Proven strength in decision making skills in a fast paced environment
  • Experience managing and executing change management plans
  • Strong communication, meeting management and facilitation skills
  • Strong business acumen
  • Proven strong organizational skills
  • Proven ability to build strong working relationship and able to collaborate with all levels
