About the role

The Data and Analyticsorganization is a critical component of the Customer and Strategy Team at GapInc. This team is chartered with unlocking the power of data and analytics todrive customer obsession across Gap Inc.

Reportingto the Director of Decision & Marketing Analytics, the Sr. Manager, MarketingAnalytics will drive the advancement and evolution of marketing analyticsacross the enterprise, to develop a cohesive and holistic view of omni-channelmarketing effectiveness and enable internal business teams to make better,faster, more informed decisions on marketing performance, optimization andspend allocations.

What you'll do

  • Continually evolve and improve our marketing analytics capabilities and tools to be best in class
  • Drive marketing measurement capabilities through development and execution of MMM, MTA and other advanced analytic techniques / statistical analysis at scale
  • Design, execute and analyze tests for performance, brand and direct marketing initiatives.
  • Support strategic initiatives, perform analyses and communicate learnings and insights to marketing teams and leadership.
  • Drive development and evolution of report capabilities and dashboards to drive performance optimization with respect to overall customer and channel goals

Who you are

  • 8+ years of experience in marketing analytics, including development and execution of MMM, MTA, direct marketing analysis in a multi-channel retail or other consumer facing environment
  • Geo-testing and/or other expertise with implementing digital and traditional media marketing tests desired
  • Hands on experience implementing advanced analytic models using SQL, R, Python within large-scale computing environments and datasets
  • Proficiency with visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI
  • Strong business acumen and presentation skills
  • Master’s degree in a quantitative/business/scientific field
