About the role

This is an opportunity to expand your understanding of benefits plans and broaden your skillset. Learn how to work in a large matrix organization. This position is responsible for Leave and Disability programs in the United States and Puerto Rico with expansion into benefits systems.

What you'll do

  • Subject Matter Expert (SME) in combinations of the following: Plan and systems administration, Leaves and Disability, Paid Time Off
  • Manage budget, vendor, and stakeholder relationships associated with the role
  • Ensure compliance of Gap Inc. plans with all business and legal plan requirements
  • Manage benchmarking and survey process to help maintain program competitiveness
  • Partners closely with Shared Services, Brands and Inc., HR as well as other internal and external key stakeholders to manage the administration of the benefits programs

Who you are

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience a must
  • 3-5 years of experience within Benefits function with focus in some combinations of leaves and disability, systems, and administration
  • Experience working with external vendors/administers
  • Strong business acumen; solid understanding of EXCEL and IT capabilities with HRMS desirable
  • Resourceful when tyring to navigate challenging and sensitive situations requiring supportive change management and communications
  • Strong communication skills, able to communicate complex concepts clearly
  • Curious, scrappy, detail-oriented, and drives for results with a passion for customer experience and problem solving
