About the role

The Experience and Payments Technology team focuses on exploring new technology, features, and partnerships. These functions are critical to supporting the Loyalty and Payments organization’s online and in-store operations and must continuously be optimized as the Loyalty initiative grows. This team will manage the technology and partnership roadmap across each of the brands to find functions and partnerships that work for all of the in-store operations.
Leadership & Strategic Development

What you'll do

  • Develops strategic roadmap for each partnership account, and scales existingelevant relationships
  • Builds and launches compelling partnerships to help drive the adoption and continual usage of the loyalty program – ideation, evaluation, alignment, development and implementation
  • Develops strategies to grow and maintain the payments ecosystem, including international growth, fraud, new technology integration, etc.
  • Defines KPIs for success and owns the reporting of key partnership metrics on a regular cadence
  • Owns and oversees projects of key assignments to solve for issues in technology and partnership offerings
  • Serves as subject matter expert for industry trends (competitive and marketing dynamics), as well as new product and technology trends, garnering a deep understanding of the competitive landscape for the customer experience and payments technology landscape
  • Owns partnerships with all experience and payments technology vendors to ensure contracts and renewed contract negotiations do not interfere with current operation
Organizational Leadership
  • Leads cross-functional collaboration efforts to drive internal and external alignment on the implementation of technology to support growth initiatives throughout the Loyalty & Payments ecosystem
  • Leads cross-functional efforts to implement business strategies, scale operations and launch new products to support the Loyalty & Payments business
  • Partners closely with Director of Experience and Payments Technology to manage and lead negotiation for vendor contracts on all partner/vendor integrations for new technology enhancements
  • Oversees Partnerships Manager (50%) to support and manage partnership initiatives
  • Builds and maintains relationships with partners and industry thought leaders to keep abreast of innovation and partnership opportunities

Who you are

  • 8+ years of work experience, with a minimum of 2 years at an investment banking, consulting – or consumer productsetail marketing, strategy or finance role
  • Previous experience building and maintaining partnerships with multiple companies; negotiating partnership contracts and previous loyalty/payments experience preferred
  • Strong communication skills: written, oral and formal presentation; ability to actively participate and influence executive-level discussions and decision making
  • Proven ability to lead, manage and gain alignment across a complex, matrixed organization.
  • Strong analytical, financial, and problem-solving skills. Highly comfortable with leveraging data to drive decisions and tell a story
  • Strong project management and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, while also maintaining oversight of the business
  • Bachelor’s Degree; MBA a plus
