About the role

The Project Manager of Supply Chain Store Productivity supports the Store Productivity team to create effective communication, tools and resources that drive increased field execution and improved product sell through in stores.

This role helps to design, document, and evaluate processes to efficiently operate our stores while helping to identify improvement opportunities and cost/benefit of implemented solutions. The role will evaluate Supply Chain standard operating procedures and deliver best practices that drive efficiency and productivity in our Gap Inc., fleet of stores. This role will be working through complexities in stores to assess productivity-impacting aspects of our operations, determines resource gaps and supports sustainable solutions that increase the efficiency of our teams and the profitability of our stores.

This role works with the Director of Process Engineering and Compliance to influence key business partners across all brands, functions and channels and represents the voice of the field and customers in all interactions.
Key Responsibilities:

Assess current and new processes to identify areas to improve efficiency, productivity and profitability

·

Establish method for design, documentation, evaluation, and sustainability of Supply Chain related Standard Operating Procedures

·

Analyze processes to understand cost/benefit and leverages findings to influence and prioritize change

·

Leverage business data and KPIs to identify opportunities to increase profitability and efficiency

·

Drive best in class operational excellence, supported by a deep knowledge of process engineeringe-engineering

·

Manage in store execution of supply chain productivity initiatives through effective communication and strong partnership with field teams

·

Coordinate and lead field feedback to support future initiatives and drive improved productivity.

·

Recommend change management strategies to effectively implement initiatives

·

Collaborate with Field and HQ teams to determine opportunities for process improvement

·

Analyze and propose solutions, within brand store environment

·

Analyze competitors to enable best in class processes

Retail Stores experience preferred

·

Experience with Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen and Business Process Re-engineering

·

Proficient in Excel, Word and PowerPoint
