About the role

The International Marketing Manager- Audience Experience is responsible for optimizing how content comes together to create a compelling experience for each customer for Gap Online in Japan, United Kingdom and Europe. This team is accountable for developing a compelling experience, measured by engagement/sales across site and email. The unique value this team brings is a deep understanding of personalization and segmentation strategy, a holistic view of market and customer experience, and analytical prowess to make messaging recommendations, drive strategy, and highlight channel innovation needs.

What you'll do

  • Drive thought leadership & strategy for the email channel through analysis, testing and an understanding of market trends and industry to maximize traffic to the international websites.

  • Identify and champion site and email marketing functionality that will help enhance and personalize content to drive engagement, traffic & sales.

  • Build & drive the testing roadmap to optimize marketing effectiveness and performance for site & email.

  • Develop a deep understanding on the international markets and the customer needs in order to speak to localized strategies and initiatives and identify areas of opportunity.

  • Pull adhoc marketing reporting and analysis to help drive a better understanding of business trends.

  • Manage and support one associate manager direct report.

Who you are

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience

  • 5+ years of relevant ecommerce marketing experience
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills especially the ability to glean insights and tell a story from the data
  • Politically savvy with track record of navigating multiple levels of an organization
  • Positive attitude and ability to manage change, thrive in a fast-paced environment, deal with ambiguity, and prioritize multiple projects
  • History of effective cross-functional partnerships and working through multiple levels of an organization
  • Experience in Omniture a plus
