About the role
We’re looking for a Regional Visual Manager for the West Region to successfully drive brand loyalty by ensuring exceptional customer experience through well-merchandised, visually engaging, and brand appropriate store environments. The Regional Visual Manager (RVM) ensures the integrity of Gap Brand through consistent execution of merchandising direction within a region. The Regional Visual Manager has a strong partnership with the Regional Director to align on Regional initiatives and leads the District Managers in developing strategies to deliver well merchandised, visually engaging stores that meet the needs of the business. The RVM provides training, leadership, guidance and inspiration to the region and DM team.
Ensures District Managers (DM’s) and the regional teams understand the brand aesthetic; reinforces company goals and objectives at the store, district and regional level
Guides and develops the DM team in translating corporate direction to meet the needs of their business and/or store architectural challenges
Communicates and informs District Managers on visual opportunities and initiatives; solicits and provides feedback
Works cross-functionally to ensure the brand presentation expectation is consistently actionable for the stores
Conducts store visits to ensure understanding, compliance, and execution of merchandising and visual standards
Reviews and aligns on business/company strategies with the Regional Director; partners with the Regional Director and District Managers on identifying and maximizing business opportunities
Communicates effectively, both written and verbally to store teams and business partners
Who you are
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
3+ years of retail management experience,including visual merchandising
Willing and able to travel to the market asneeded, up to and including overnight stays
Able to problem solve to find solutions tocomplex issues and can anticipate consequences
Ability to build relationships, influence atall levels, and make decisions cross-functional in a matrix organization wherespeed is crucial
Demonstrates attention to detail in creationof processes and monitors implementation to ensure proper execution
Able to lead through significant change andtransformation to move an organization forward
