Janie and Jack and Hill City Open Holiday Pop Ups

This holiday season, Gap Inc. wants to bring the same seamless cross-brand shopping experience from our sites to our physical locations. That’s why two of our smaller brands – Hill City and Janie and Jack – are opening pop-ups in their sister brand locations so customers have the opportunity to shop for everyone in their life with ease. Hill City capsules are now inside seven Athleta stores in the West Coast listed below and Janie and Jack opened two pop-ups inside Banana Republic stores in New York and San Francisco.

Launched digitally native a year ago, Hill City, a men’s performance lifestyle brand, is excited to share a curated selection with the most popular items inside select Athleta stores. Last year, 50 Athleta stores gave a first look at Hill City apparel to touch and feel, but from now until early Spring 2020, shoppers can buy products on-site.  

“Athleta and Hill City both design products for active lifestyles that merge performance with comfort, style, and versatility. We currently only have one physical short-term location in Hayes Valley, San Francisco, so it’s great we can offer the Athleta customer a chance this holiday season to shop and gift Hill City,” said Noah Palmer, Head of Hill City.  

For Janie and Jack, the holidays are a time to shine and this year is no exception. The brand has always offered fun and beautiful children’s style for holiday celebrations, and this year they even have outfits for the family dog to match! The pop-ups also feature the newest Juno Valentine by Janie and Jack collection in collaboration with fashion influencer Eva Chen. The pop-ups are located at the Banana Republic on Grant Ave. in San Francisco and on Broadway in Soho, New York.

“It’s a natural fit for Janie and Jack to show up in a Banana Republic store. As the customer is buying holiday outfits for themselves, parents, and loved ones, they can now buy for the kids too,” said Shelly Walsh, General Manager and SVP of Janie and Jack. “I’m excited to bring our brand into these new locations and offer holiday shoppers the opportunity to discover Janie and Jack.”

Seven Athleta locations will feature Hill City products, including the popular fleece graphic hoodie, thermal light shirt jacket, train ½ zip and the X-purpose short at:

• Sutter St. -- San Francisco, CA
• Bishop Ranch -- San Ramon, CA
• Burlingame Ave. -- Burlingame, CA
• Town and Country -- Palo Alto, CA
• Old Mill District – Bend, OR
